“Malam Kebudayaan Cina (MKC)” is an important platform to introduce Tiong Hua cultures and also to foster close relationship among University students. This cultural activity is designed to promote cultural exchange and encourage better understanding among students from major ethnic groups in the University.
MAIN OBJECTIVES
- To expose the uniqueness of Tiong Hua culture not only to the Tiong Hua community but also to other ethnic groups.
- To foster the bond and relationship between residents in Tuanku Kurshiah Residential College.
- To serve as a platform for personal development for undergraduates participating in this project, be it working and organizing this prestigious event.
- To approach and bring up the concept of 1 Malaysia in Tuanku Kurshiah Residential College.

MALAM KEBUDAYAAN CINA (MKC)
A grand scale, annual event happening in Tuanku Kurshiah Residential College, organized by the Student Representative Council.
MKC ’13 will begin with Tiong Hua Cultural Night by a series of stage performances and Tiong Hua traditional plays.
CULTURAL NIGHT
On 26th March 2013, a Cultural night performance will be held at the Tuanku Kurshiah Residential College. Said place can accommodate1,000 people. On this night, University of Malaya undergraduates with the help of a professional arts production house will present a performances related to the Malam Kebudayaan Cina.
